FAAS Manager - Assistant Controller (IFMS)

Rolle und Verantwortlichkeiten
Support monthly and quarterly close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis. Assist in preparing financial information under the appropriate reporting framework (IFRS, US GAAP, Swiss Code of Obligations, Swiss GAAP FER), depending on client requirements. Collaborate with FAAS specialists on technical accounting matters (aligned with IFMS delivery model). Contribute to regulatory reporting, including SEC filings (as applicable), EU regulatory submissions, and SIX Swiss Exchange reporting. Work with IFMS Delivery Executives and global delivery teams to monitor service delivery, identify issues early, and support timely remediation. Support commercial management activities by monitoring scope changes and contract‑related matters. Provide operational support across treasury processes, stock‑based compensation tracking, and coordination with banks and transfer agents. Support payroll‑related activities in collaboration with EY managed services teams and client HR for tax and benefits compliance. Prepare audit schedules and assist with the internal and external audit processes. Contribute materials for Audit Committee and Board meetings. Assist with the administration and monitoring of IFMS systems, including subledger–ledger interfaces and reconciliations.

Qualifikationen und Fähigkeiten
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
CPA (active, eligible, or inactive) or equivalent certification preferred
6–9+ years of progressive accounting experience, including significant hands‑on experience in a corporate / in‑house finance function, with a strong focus on financial reporting and compliance.
Strong technical knowledge across IFRS and/or US GAAP, with flexibility to operate across frameworks depending on client needs
Strong analytical capabilities, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across onshore and offshore teams
Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with SAP, Concur, and Ariba is beneficial
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment and adapt to evolving client needs
Experience supporting public‑company reporting or SEC‑related processes is an advantage
Excellent communication skills in English, with proficiency in French or German
