Senior System Engineer

Implement, maintain, and evolve Microsoft-based environments (Windows Server, Active Directory, WSUS, SQL Server, IIS, etc.) Administer and optimize virtualized environments (VMware ESXi, vCenter; VM lifecycle management) Design and optimize system architectures to ensure performance, scalability, and security Monitor infrastructure health and proactively identify and resolve potential issues Provide 2nd-level and advanced support, handling complex incidents and root cause analysis Automate operations using tools like PowerShell, Puppet, Rundeck, and Terraform Manage the lifecycle of Microsoft systems, ensuring they remain stable, secure and up to date Share knowledge and contribute to technical standards, documentation, and team best practices

• Windows Server and Microsoft ecosystem (AD, GPO, IIS, SQL Server, WSUS, RDS, DFS)

• Virtualization (VMware vSphere, proxmox)

• Backup solutions (Veeam)

• Networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, VPNs, firewalls, proxy, load balancers)

• Scripting and automation (PowerShell, python)

• Monitoring tools (CheckMK or similar)

• Infrastructure as Code / configuration management (Terraform, Puppet)

• Exposure to public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)

• Experience with Linux administration (Debian, RHEL)

• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills

• Ability to document and share knowledge

• Customer-oriented mindset with good communication skills

• Excellent written and spoken French and English; proficiency in German is an asset.
