Senior Buying & Planning Specialist TV

Lead the end-to-end buying of TV advertising spots, including negotiation, booking, and optimization to ensure best possible pricing, reach, and campaign performance. Plan and execute TV media strategies in line with client objectives, audience targets and campaign KPIs. Develop clear and effective TV media plans based on client objectives, target audiences, and KPIs. Define optimal channel mix, programmes, and time slots to reach the right audiences efficiently. Translate client briefs into actionable TV strategies in collaboration with account and buying teams. Analyse audience data to identify key viewing behaviours, segments, and opportunities. Monitor campaign performance using key TV metrics such as reach, frequency, and GRPs. Deliver post-campaign analysis and clear recommendations for future optimisation. Build and manage TV budgets, ensuring efficient allocation across channels and campaigns. Optimise spend to maximise reach, GRPs, and overall campaign efficiency. Provide recommendations on budget distribution across networks, formats, and time periods. Stay up to date with TV, OTT, and streaming market trends and audience developments. Identify new opportunities such as special events, new channels, or emerging media formats. Present TV media plans, strategies, and campaign results to clients. Act as the main point of contact for TV buying-related matters. Build and maintain strong relationships with broadcasters and media partners. Support and mentor junior planners and buyers. Share best practices and contribute to continuous improvement within the team.
