Lead Architect Order Management

Rolle und Verantwortlichkeiten

As a Lead Architect, you take responsibility for your domain Order Management in the sense of divide & conquer. You manage the Order Management architecture board and the architectural runway. You are accountable for architecture decisions within your domain and bring overarching decisions to higher architecture boards. You ensure that architecture standards are followed within in your domain. You define target architectures to plan the medium to long-term evolution of your domain on all four architecture layers: Business, Application, Data and Technology. Your target architectures are harmonised with business stakeholders and cross domains. You ensure that target architectures are both technically and economically feasible. You orchestrate system architects for the implementation of the target architectures. You review architecture artefacts such as Solution Blueprints.

Team / Beschreibung

You are a member of the Lead Architects team within the global IT Architecture. Together with your colleagues from the Foundation and System Architecture teams, you are responsible for the future development of the application landscape. As a Lead Architect for Order Management, you build the bridge to the business and ensure business and IT alignment from a medium to long-term perspective.

Qualifikationen und Fähigkeiten

  • At least 5 years of experience as a Senior Architect with architecture responsibilities, e.g., Lead / Domain / Enterprise Architect in a larger organisation

  • At least 3 years of experience in banking trading / order management

  • Strong customer orientation and the ability to enable solutions

  • Strong affinity to follow and identify new technology trends and subsequently integrate them into the company

  • Convincing business and IT stakeholders with strategic, solution-oriented thinking and diplomatic behaviour

  • Master’s degree in engineering, e.g., from ETH or a Technical University

  • English: Business fluent. German: Basic

  • Understanding of order lifecycle and integration into internal end-to-end processes

  • Strategic thinking and the ability to analyse complex topics

  • Proven expertise in the design and evaluation of architectural decisions, considering architectural guidelines and economic aspects

  • Excellent communication, presentation and consulting skills

  • Hands-on experience in software engineering and design of software architectures

  • Optional: Hands-on experience with IBM OTMS

  • Optional: Certification of TOGAF or SAFe
