Accountant General Ledger

Rolle und Verantwortlichkeiten

General Ledger & Month-End Close Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, prepayments, and reclassifications Reconcile general ledger accounts and investigate variances Support the maintenance of chart of accounts and accounting master data

Financial Reporting & Analysis Assist in preparing internal financial reports Support variance analysis between actuals and budget Ensure data accuracy and completeness for management reporting

Compliance & Controls Ensure accounting activities comply with company policies, internal controls, and relevant accounting standards (IFRS/Swiss GAAP) Assist with internal and external audit requests

Operational Support Collaborate with relevant stakeholders inside and outside the Finance Organisation to ensure accurate and timely data flow Maintain organized documentation

CARBOGEN AMCIS is a leading service provider in the area of product and process development, including the commercial production of active ingredients for the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical industries. Qualifikationen und Fähigkeiten

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field or comparable education

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in an accounting role

  • Good understanding of general accounting principles

  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities

  • High attention to detail and accuracy

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems (SAP, Microsoft dynamics, or similar) is a plus

  • Good communication and organizational skills

  • Ability to work collaboratively and meet deadlines

  • Good working knowledge of German and English
