Technical Project Manager / Delivery Manager

Lead software development and modernization projects end-to-end. Define project scope, milestones, delivery plans, and execution strategies. Manage risks, dependencies, and cross-system impacts. Contribute to improving software delivery processes and SDLC. Ensure high-quality and reliable software delivery. Maintain a holistic overview of system landscapes and integrations. Collaborate closely with developers, architects, and product stakeholders. Align architecture with delivery needs across multiple initiatives. Challenge solutions when they increase complexity or technical debt. Support solution design discussions and architectural decision-making. Promote scalable, maintainable, and modern engineering practices.

In the context of an innovation initiative, Ärztekasse is renewing and extending their products. • Strong background in software development (former developer or engineer)

• Solid understanding of software architecture, system integration, and distributed systems

• Ability to understand codebases and technical trade-offs without necessarily coding daily

• Experience working across multiple teams / initiatives

• Experience working with modern software development practices (Agile, DevOps, CI/CD) are a strong plus

• Background as Technical Lead, Solution Architect, or Engineering Lead

• Experience balancing delivery pressure with long-term technical quality

• Strong analytical and systems thinking mindset

• Comfortable operating in partially evolving or ambiguous environments

• Good understanding of backend systems, APIs, and integrations

• Experience with complex systems, modernization or legacy transformation projects

• Fluent in English and German
